If you are referring to the book and movie of Gigi, I don't think the touchstones are disturbing at all...but maybe I'm clueless. In any case, it sounds full of life and independent, characteristics she will undoubtedly learn from her amazing parents. Hopefully I'll get to meet her soon!

Gigi--according to my research it is a nickname for Georgina or Gilberte or Giselle, etc. It can mean "brilliant" "earth worker" or "girl from the farm." Right now I'm hearing the soundtrack playing, Louis Jordan singing... you couldn't have chosen a better name to please the musical lovers in the family! :)
In time I'll get to hold her and give her loves! In a long time...please keep sending the photos for us who are afar. We love you guys!
