A month or so ago, Matt and I discovered a new wireless internet connection in our neighborhood. We've been blogging blissfully since . . . until last night. I tried to connect last night but the mysterious wireless owner had PASSWORDED THE ACCOUNT! Erggggggggh!. Now we have to pony up the cash like every other internet user. Unfortunately, this means we need to get an actual phone line (as we only have cell phones and no cable t.v.). Why does the world have to be so stingy with their internet? Why can't we all split the bandwidth and come to some kind of cooperation? Alright, my rant is now over. I suppose we'll have to do dial-up as it is the cheapest. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open.
On a brighter note, tommorow is our sushi night at Takashi. Because we are on a budget, we can really only do Takashi once a month. It works out well though, because then I'm good and craving it by the time our sushi date rolls around. At our sushi night tomorrow we will be joined by Matt's cousin Craig and his wife Kristin as well as our new friends Anita and Jason who just moved to Salt Lake. I consider it my duty to introduce anyone new to Salt Lake to the decent restaurants here.

Hey C! We only have cell phones, too, so we connect to the internet through cable- even though we don't technically have cable- it's the cable provider that hooks us up. No phone line needed. Good luck!

Thanks, for the cable info. Lately I've been looking into a satillite dish high speed internet that seems much cheaper than cable. Does anyone use Digis or know anything about a satillite internet provider?
i was sold on slc after you took us to Dee's for breakfast (well and the Lebanese restaurant the night before. mmmmmmmmmmm chicken kabob saucey stuff mmmmmmm.....)
ps you should leave anonymous threats to take the password off their wireless written on toilet paper in the trees of your neighbor's yard
Celeste, Hire Liz to take care of this for you. She sounds like she is well resourced with ideas.
Seriously, good luck finding another free ride somewhere.
PS. Reach Scale is one of my many avatars...

Thanks Jared. Hope your birthday was smashing!
I know, our new internet was just hooked up yesterday. I'll work hard to get out an acceptable post by the end of the weekend.
