Matt, being from an "orchard family," decided to prune our apricot tree. It was in desperate need of pruning, and I know it will be better in the long run, but I couldn't help but be a little sad for the tree. It had grown quite accustomed to being left alone.
Due to a late frost will won't be having any apricots this year. Just one more project I can put off until next year.
Our peonies are just about to bloom. Doesn't this bud look so hopeful?
