forever21

I know, I'm almost thirty, but that doesn't stop me from loving Forever 21. And now that we have a new, two-level store in town, I had to spend a few hours there today (as it is the beginning of the month, and I have a fresh, self-imposed, clothes budget to spend). My real excuse for going was to pick out a birthday present for my sister, Trina. Mission accomplished (not in the Bush sense).

No, I want her to be surprised. Also, I didn't know if she would like this one. I can't wear it because it only has the illusion of sleeves.

I seem to remember Liz had quite a few of those "illusion of sleeves" dresses in college...hmmm...

I just had an "I'm almost 30" moment this week trying on a fun springy dress. I wish I could rent out a 15-year-old daughter for my shopping trips so she could tell me the truth about how I look, and then send her back because, really, who wants a 15-year-old daughter 24/7?
