anticipating the darjeeling limited

I am so excited for the new Wes Anderson movie . . . my heart just raced watching the preview. Thanks to Lane for her probing questions and analysis on the movie. It won't be coming to Utah until late Oct/early Nov. There will be a free screening at the Broadway on Oct 23. We'll be out of town but I encourage anyone around to check it out.

By the way, there is a short prequel film by Wes Anderson that is being shown before "The Darjeeling Limited" at the festivals called "Hotel Chevalier." Unfortunately, Fox has decided not to release it with the movie for the general population. If you would like to see it before the full length film, you can download it for free from iTunes for a limited time. Word to those who avoid nudity: don't watch as you will see Nathalie Portman au natural.

celeste! how long has it been? how are you??? so fun to "run in to you" here. :) or is it "into"? oh geez. how many years has it been since i've had to think about things like that? mitch would be disappointed.
ok, darjeeling limited: so. freaking. excited.
my favorites: wes, owen, and jason schwartzman! and i guess adrien brody was good in "the village." whenever david and i need a good belly laughing session, we watch "bottle rocket" or "rushmore." so witty and hilarious. thanks for posting the trailer! can't wait!!!

Renae, so great to connect with you again. It has been a long time since we sat in Mitch's advanced writing class (a fateful class where I met my man). Matt and I love "Bottle Rocket" and "Rushmore" too. Doesn't it seem that no matter which film he is in, Owen Wilson always plays a version of his original character in Bottle Rocket, "Dignon?"
