I thought for a minute the first model was you. I think you're hair would be cute that way. I LOVED carrying the kids around when they were babies. It certainly frees up your hands to do other things.
i used the puj baby and the kelty kangaroo. i loved the puj. the kangaroo is difficult to get situated, but once it is on its great. and that one has made it through all three of mine (and someone else's we bought it on ebay). james is too big and squirmy for either of those, but he loves the backpack when we hike and i am tempted to take it to the grocery store because he won't stay put in the cart.
